Clinics
All chronic disease management is done by doctors and nurses during normal surgery hours.
Antenatal Clinic
Every alternate Tuesdays 1.30 - 3.30pm
Patients are seen by the midwife by appointment.
Insulin Initiation Service
For newly diagnosed diabetic patients, the Insulin is initiated by the clinician during normal consultation hours.
Family Planning
Contraception care is provided by all the doctors during surgery hours. From March’13, Dr Rajeshwari Nagarajan is offering Long Acting Reversible Contraceptive [LARC] services i.e., IUCD fitting & removal, Coil fitting & removal, Implants, etc.
Minor Surgery
Being referred to community clinics.
Counselling
The counselling service is provided by Greenwich Time to Talk at the surgery premises on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. By GP referral only.
Travel Immunisations/Vaccinations
Please make an appointment at least eight weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS.
Flu Vaccination
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes. Please contact the reception staff in October for details of vaccination dates and to make an appointment.
Smoking Cessation
Please enquire for details.
Non-NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals, eg insurance and driving licence, by appointment outside surgery hours. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. Ask at reception for the charges for these services.
